We here at Adopt One Village hope that everyone is doing extremely well as you read this.
We are currently looking for some help in our West Orange warehouse and wonder if you might be able to assist us – even if you can’t attend yourself. See below for two separate opportunities:
Opportunity #1:
The Adopt One Village warehouse is in need of volunteers this Sunday, August 19 form 2 PM to 5 PM.
If you (and a bunch of friends maybe?) happen to be free anytime between 2 PM and 5 PM on Sunday, please stop by!
We can always use help sorting donations for shipment, but this time we may have some general organizational or even outside maintenance work if anyone is interested. Depending on what is accomplished between now and then, of course.

(The entrance is almost directly across the street from the intersection of Watchung Avenue and Alden Street.)
Opportunity #2:
We are always looking to increase the number of volunteers on our regular Sunday schedule. Can you please let people know about the opportunity to help via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail blast, texting frenzy, direct mail campaign, billboard rental… You get the point.
We have had some great groups participate with us and wonder if maybe you know someone who can organize a group to come help us on a regular basis. some examples might be:
- School groups or clubs (receive volunteer time credit for college applications, etc!)
- Youth groups
- Friend and neighbor groups
- Large family groups
- Girl scouts
- Boy scouts
- Eagle scout projects
- Company project or outing
- Customer campaign by a doctor, dentist, etc.
- …Feel free to be creative. We welcome your ideas!
