Today was a great day in the village. Since we barely had any work left, I was able to play with the kids. I had a lot of fun playing with Kwojo, Martin, and Amma. After we finished in the morning, we went back to the seminary and ate. They got us bottled soda, which is my favorite. We went back to the village and had a bonfire. We gave out food to the kids and danced to their music. We had so many good times today. I can’t wait till tomorrow!
(Note that the bottled soda in Ghana has a distinct flavor different from the same brand here in the USA. Some claim it is the all natural cane sugars, etc. Regardless of why, the taste is distinctly different. Plus, all sodas come in glass bottles and still require a deposit for the bottle itself to be returned.)
