Greetings from Ghana! Today was jam-packed with completely amazing experiences, like every day we spend in the village. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to come again on what many would consider a “once in a lifetime” trip. This morning consisted of painting the preschool/kindergarten building and putting up chalkboards in the junior high. There were also plenty of chances to play with the kids as well, which was just as rewarding. The afternoon, after their school ended, was probably my favorite time because we had VBS for them. Hearing the children’s laughs and cheers as they ran and played during the games was priceless. I wish I could do things like this every day for the rest of my life! Seeing Kwojo and recognizing other kids from last year has definitely been a highlight for me. Another highlight has been learning more of their language, which is called Twi. Everything is going great here with us, and I expect many more fun times to come. 🙂
