Well I’m back home, but serving in Ghana was such a great experience! I will definitely miss everyone, especially the village kids-they were such a lively and content group of kids, considering their circumstances. It was such a blessing to have been able to spend time with them and to have been appreciated by them from the very second they saw me. It was hard to leave, but I know that they’ll be in good hands. To be honest, I will also dearly miss the bus driver, Kwabana (Thanks for the translation sheet)! A big shout out to Mausi for bargaining for me!!! And I definitely cannot forget about Franks and Alex- Love you guys!
Spending my birthday in Ghana was one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done. It was such a blessing to have so many people participating in the countless surprises of the day. Thanks to Lydia, the students, and my team for participating in all of the festivities. What a memorable experience!!!
